Refunds

Our products can be returned for a refund within 365 days of the purchase date. Simply provide some specifics about your order. our customer support team will supply you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) to be included in the return package. If you are a StewMAX member, the return shipping costs are on us.

Lost Packages and Missing Items

On rare occasions, packages get lost and or arrive with missing items. If this occurs, Contact StewMac Support and we'll send out a replacement immediately. It's that easy. It's that easy.


Returns

We stand behind the quality of our products and are confident you will be satisfied with your items. However if you're unhappy with your order, we'll gladly accept returns for unaltered items purchased on our site within 365 days of purchase. To initiate a return, please Contact StewMac Support.

All items must be returned in their original, unworked condition to be eligible for a full refund. This includes all tonewoods.

For eligible products, you may return your purchased product(s) for a refund to your original method of payment within 365 days of purchase. If your original payment method is no longer available, a StewMac Gift Card will be issued.

A StewMac-provided RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form must be included with all return shipments. After the RMA has been issued by StewMac, we allow 60 business days to return the product(s). If a product is not sent back within or is received outside the return window, a new RMA is required.

Once your return has been received, it will be reviewed to ensure the items are in an unworked and unused condition. If we find that they are altered, we reserve the right to adjust compensation form and value as we see fit. Please allow 5-7 business days after receipt for your refund to be processed.

Return Shipping

You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless you are a member of our StewMAX program. StewMAX members are entitled to free standard shipments and free product returns.

Domestic StewMAX members: we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label.

International StewMAX members: we cannot generate prepaid labels for international returns, but we will gladly reimburse you for the costs. All we need is a copy of the receipt emailed to us and we will issue a refund back to the method of payment that was used on the original order.

Non-Returnable Items

If an item is no longer in its original, unworked condition, then it cannot be returned for a refund to the original method of payment. However, we are always willing to work towards a solution for you.

This also pertains to products that require assembly and/or finishing. These include, but are not limited to:
Pedal Kits
Amp Kits
Guitar Kits

We cannot restock these items once they are in progress or completed. But we are happy to offer StewMac gift cards or replacements in lieu of a refund. Our customer support team is dedicated to finding solutions that will work for you.

Order Issues

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective out-of-box, we are happy to replace that immediately. Simply Contact StewMac Support and we'll get a replacement package sent out right away. Our representatives will determine if we need the damaged/defective item back. Additionally, we ask for pictures to confirm the claim as well as improve quality control.

If an item was missing from your order or you received the wrong item, we will get the correct item sent out immediately.

Additional Acknowledgements

Products purchased through a third-party partner or eMarketplaces must be returned through that site and will be subject to their return policy guidelines.
We monitor return activity for abuse and reserve the right to limit returns associated with a user whom we suspect of abusing this Return Policy. This includes but is not limited to users who exhibit a pattern of repeated and/or excessive returns or otherwise exhibit fraudulent behavior.
